SUGGESTIVE ARCHITECTURE
The Chappelle Notre-Dame du Haut, designed by Le Corbusier in Ronchamp, is an emblematic example of the use of archetypes in architecture. Its archetypal forms, like the curved roof, evoking a protective shell, symbolize security and refuge. The play of light through the asymmetrical windows recalls the divine light, creating a spiritual atmosphere. The rough concrete of the walls, reminiscent of ancestral constructions, symbolizes solidity and permanence. Placed on a hill, the chapel connects deeply with nature, integrating the archetype of the sacred mountain. Finally, its design engages all the senses, enriching the spiritual and emotional experience of visitors.
IMAGINATIVE ARCHITECTURE
The OFFICE Seven Rooms project is one of the first to create renderings that leave so much room for imagination. This project uses white shapes to represent built spaces without suggesting their precise use, thus offering a vision that is not entirely concrete and open to interpretation.
